Taking a break...

here i am, taking a break from life, finally! finished the sessionals today, semesters to begin in about 25 days so this is gonna be a short break. Sessionals went ok. I have worked hard and now i am better than before in most of my weak subjects....good for me. before this the college fest epiphany '08 was going on....was real fun. I was involved in just too many things and sometimes it felt overloaded but in hindsight i feel good i managed it all. I was in the registration and invitation committee. Had to dig deep for the contact numbers of cultural incharges of around 200 colleges.. n so many colleges dont even check their emails regularly! such a basic thing and even technical colleges dont follow it regularly. And then making sure only valid entries take place....never ending work...but they gave us two free movie tickets for this help...plus got to meet lots of new people...
participated in debugging too....n won the first price! had not at all expected!
Was against the motion in the hindi debate...it was sick!....the topic was-'regionalism is against democratic values' .... of course it is, but when you got to speak against the topic then you feel like strangling Raj T, who brought up this entire issue....i mean, why not debate on something better n more important like poverty, recession, technology rather than on some issue born out of plain narrow mindedness....i dont say its totally unimportant but there are more urgent issues which need to be discussed.... n the topic for the hindi and english debate was same...so double torture....worst debate ever...
And was in Botball too......amazing experience..while i had been preparing for it, the person with whom i partenered went and became part of another team for LFR...that was so irritating.. she was supposed to help in my team!...so i got to make a new team n after lots of searching found two more people...we workd like hell over our bot....n it went won its first match! lost the next though..all in all a good begining...still working on it to make it better for future events...
Throughout the two day fest it was super hectic!
Right now i am a bit relaxed....listening to music...n checking out blogs...i love the cakewrecks one!...n dat reminds me - i made a new cake....have been making chocolate cake for ages now...but recently made jam cake...so instead of alternating recipe for a special flavour, now i just add the needed flavor's jam n its ready!
